First Two Years of Middle School

The learning style of primary school is very different from that of middle school. The number of subjects students must learn suddenly increases, knowledge to be absorbed becomes more complex and teaching methods are also different. All of these factors present a formidable challenge to new middle school students. During the first two years of middle school, Xueda’s teacher teams can help students develop good learning habits, give psychological guidance, and teach effective learning methods to give them a head start early on.

Successfully transition into middle school
In middle school the material covered in one lesson is equivalent to 3-4 primary school lessons. Student’s first year of middle school is a key transition period. Our teachers give students a preview of middle school courses in advance, integrate what they already know, and give guidance to help them improve skills such as listening comprehension, concept review, reading and memorization, and learning habits.

Successfully complete the second year
We help students plan their studies and allocate their time to ensure that knowledge of key subjects is absorbed and peak performance is assured. At Xueda, students learn to consolidate their knowledge, improve their academic performance, and at the same time, prepare themselves for following year of middle school.
