Primary School

Primary School Grades 1 & 2

Students in grades 1 and 2 of primary school are in a special stage. While their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning is very strong, they have a short attention, fatigue easily and are drawn to visual stimuli. Our kind, patient and experienced teachers can effectively arouse interest and inspire learning in a visually stimulating teaching environment.

Developing strong learning habits
Xueda’s teachers build good communication with students through kindness, enthusiasm and patience; they become encouraging leaders and organizers of their students' education. At the same time using lively, image-based teaching methods to stimulate interest and arouse students’ curiosity and inquisitive nature—effectively avoiding negative feelings towards learning.
Developing good learning habits
Students are taught to pay close attention to their thinking process and develop their ability to ask the right questions. Placing an emphasis on active thinking, teachers impart judgment abilities, understanding of lessons and analysis of class material. They coach students in forming good habits in areas such as reading and writing, help them do their homework as well as review and preview test material.
Building a positive learning atmosphere
Xueda has the utmost respect for the feelings of our students. We care for and love each student equally, and through consistent encouragement and evaluation, we strive to create a happy, comfortable and harmonious learning atmosphere. Classroom interaction and entertainment make teaching activities more visual and interesting to the students, building their enthusiasm for learning.
